Mr. Mom

Well, I'm a single parent for the next five days. Stace took off early this morning to Utah for her grandfather's funeral, which is on Wednesday. She'll be back Friday night. As always, it's a heck of a trip--she left the house at 4 this morning Swiss time, and she lands in Salt lake at 1 tomorrow morning, Swiss time. She'll be in Utah for three days, and then she'll turn right around and get back here on Friday night. She won't even have time to catch up from jet lag by the time we head to Paris on Monday morning.

Since I'm clueless about a certain number of day-to-day things, Stace set out the proper clothing combination for the kids for each of the five school days she'll be gone. She also pre-made a couple of dinners for us. We'll survive. I know what I'm doing. I've had the kids for eight hours now, and they've only watched movies for six of those hours.

(I'm kidding.)

By the way, to anyone in Utah who's reading this: be sure to ask Stace how things went with getting her liquids through security. If enough people ask her, it'll drive her nuts. She rarely reads the blog, so she'll never know that I put you all up to it.
