Well, it's official: we're staying in Switzerland for another year. The reasons are complicated, but for the most part, it seems like it will be better for my work situation. Things are pretty slow at the mother ship in Eagan right now. I've become involved in some interesting projects here in Switzerland, and work on those projects will (hopefully) leave me in a better position to head back next summer. We'll see. I don't try to predict the future too far in advance these days.
And maybe I can still make it to Egypt, by golly.
