Having fun

Just a quick entry from Vienna, and no pictures that I can show yet. Everything is going fine. About our visit to Dachau, I'll just say that however bad you've imagined life at a concentration camp, the real thing was ten times worse. Being there really drove that point home. The day we spent there was worthwhile but draining.

We're having a great time on our other adventures. Driving on German freeways with no speed limit is a blast. The Bundersons are now back on their way to Amsterdam, and we'll be in Vienna until Wednesday. We love both Salzburg and Vienna. We've had some typical vacation mishaps, but nothing fatal. More complete report in a few days!

We visited that concentration camp and "draining" is the perfect description for it. I remember Roy and his family (my cousin from Germany) wondering why we were so interested in such a depressing place. Very educational.

We sure had fun with your 2 cute kids on the 4th of July.
